Kids Advocates 2.0
Founded with a single, powerful mission—to support children and their families during life’s most challenging moments—we are committed to making a meaningful difference when it matters most. We specialize in court-ordered visitation for both private cases and the State of Connecticut, always guided by one core principle: serving the best interests of the child and family.
At the heart of everything we do is compassion, trust, and professionalism. Our highly trained team provides dependable, supervised visitation services in a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring every family feels respected, supported, and truly understood. When families need stability and care the most, we are here to provide it with integrity and dedication.

A supervised visitation supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that time between a child and their non-custodial parent takes place in a safe, neutral, and supportive environment. Our supervisors carefully observe each interaction, provide accurate documentation, and intervene only when necessary to protect safety or uphold court-ordered guidelines—allowing visits to unfold as naturally as possible.
We are committed to fostering healthy, positive parent-child connections in a space that is respectful and free of judgment. As an unbiased third party, our role is to support—not influence. We do not take sides or make custody recommendations. Instead, we focus entirely on creating a secure, stable, and encouraging experience where your child’s well-being always comes first.

Our experienced and professional team provides a comprehensive range of services—including supervised visitation, therapeutic visitation, and parenting education—tailored to meet the unique needs of every family. We are dedicated to fostering positive, healthy interactions while ensuring full compliance with court-ordered requirements, giving families the structure, support, and confidence they need to move forward.

All services are professionally documented and available for use in court or mediation, providing you with clear, reliable records when you need them most. At Kids Advocates 2.0, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality at affordable rates—because every family deserves access to trusted, professional support without financial strain.

Therapeutic Visitation provides a structured, guided environment designed to support and strengthen the parent-child relationship. This service is especially beneficial in situations where families are working to reconnect—such as when a parent has been absent for an extended period or when there has been past trauma involving the parent or child.
Led by Master’s-level or licensed professionals, therapeutic visitation offers more than supervision—it provides meaningful support, guidance, and intervention when needed. Our goal is to help rebuild trust, encourage healthy communication, and create a safe space where both the child and family can heal, grow, and move forward together.

Visits can take place in a variety of comfortable and engaging settings, including public locations or our dedicated playrooms. Families often choose public spaces such as parks, playgrounds, aquariums, children’s museums, restaurants, libraries, malls, game rooms, and bowling alleys—creating natural, positive experiences for parent and child to connect.
For a more structured and private setting, our playrooms in Norwich, Connecticut provide a safe, child-friendly environment designed to encourage interaction and ease.
We offer visitation services throughout the entire State of Connecticut, giving families the flexibility and accessibility they need.

Our supervisors provide detailed, objective documentation of each visit, including arrival and departure times, observed behaviors, parent-child interactions, and any concerns related to safety or compliance. Every report is factual and impartial—free from personal opinions or interpretation.
These professional records can be requested by courts or attorneys, offering a clear and credible account of each visit and helping demonstrate adherence to court-ordered guidelines.

A supervisor has the authority to immediately pause or terminate a visit if a child’s safety, emotional well-being, or court-ordered guidelines are at risk. This may include situations involving aggression, suspected intoxication or substance use, or any inappropriate behavior.
All incidents are handled with professionalism and care, thoroughly documented, and reported to the court or referring party in full compliance with legal requirements—ensuring accountability and, above all, the continued protection of the child.

All Kids Advocates 2.0 supervising staff complete comprehensive professional training that meets or exceeds Connecticut state standards for supervised visitation. Each team member is certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid, ensuring readiness in any situation.
Our supervisors are mandated reporters and undergo thorough background checks prior to working with families, reinforcing our commitment to safety and integrity. Many also bring advanced education and experience in social work, psychology, clinical therapy, and child development—providing a higher level of insight and care.
With this expertise, every visit is handled with professionalism, neutrality, and compassion—giving families confidence that they are in capable and trusted hands.

Step 1:
We begin with an initial phone consultation to gain a clear understanding of your situation, review any relevant court documents, address concerns, and begin outlining a suitable visitation schedule. This conversation allows us to learn more about your unique circumstances and develop a plan that works for everyone involved. Each parent is consulted separately to ensure clarity, neutrality, and confidentiality.
Step 2:
Complete and sign the required intake paperwork, along with the visitation rules and guidelines. This step ensures that all parties understand and agree to the structure and expectations of the visitation process.
Step 3:
In addition to the intake documents, our staff may request supplemental information to help ensure safety and preparedness. This may include a recent photo of the child(ren), a copy of a valid driver’s license, and any pertinent case details. Examples include stay-away orders, orders of protection, allergies, medical conditions, or any other important considerations related to the child’s well-being during visitation.
